I’m leaving this review because while Dr. Solomon is a great doctor, my experience with the front office staff was extremely disappointing. This was my second scheduled appointment after the first one was cancelled and rescheduled by their office. I took time off work and arrived early, only to be told they had no record of my appointment and couldn’t even find me in the system. After going back and forth, another staff member finally realized they had entered my date of birth incorrectly. Instead of apologizing for the mistake, the front desk coordinator repeatedly said she didn’t know what I wanted her to do. When I asked if I could still see the doctor since I had taken off work, she rolled her eyes and told me I would have to wait at least an hour because their schedule was “crazy.”

This office is awesome! I have had the same prescription for about 10 years. I went to another eye doctor about 4 years ago, got a new prescription and could not get past the nausea after trying every day for about 2 weeks, so I ended up not using those new glasses and prescription. When I had to get new glasses, I went to see Dr. Solomon and his staff. They were all so professional, took time and listened to my needs. I work at a computer for 8 hours a day and found myself squinting about half the day to read the screen as well as issues with driving at night. I received my new glasses with the new prescription about 2 weeks ago and waited to make a review to make sure I still loved them and no further issues came up. I recently had a frightening experience requiring an urgent visit to Nashville Eye Center after getting a large piece of metal embedded in my eye. From the moment I walked in, the team was incredible. They were extremely professional, calm, and reassuring. They skillfully removed the large metal fragment and then, demonstrating meticulous care, even had to drill away smaller residual particles. Despite the procedure sounding intense, they handled it with such expertise and efficiency that I felt completely confident in their hands. I had an excellent exam at Vision Source in Nashville! I was late, and they saw me anyway. They were very accommodating with my crazy 2 year old, and let me know why they were doing certain things and what they were looking for. No pressure to buy any glasses from them, and very helpful answering my questions! Dr. Solomon was very friendly and personable.

They don't take insurance so a elderly person has to travel 25 or 35 miles to get seen and no transportation.
