I had a very disappointing experience at this office. I felt that the focus was more on making money than properly evaluating my issue. The provider recommended a significant amount of work, which seemed excessive, so I decided to get a second opinion elsewhere. I’m very glad I did — I was told I only needed less than half of the procedures originally recommended. I was also uncomfortable with the way staff spoke to employees in front of patients, which felt unprofessional. When I called to request my X-rays, I was told I would be charged $150 per hour for canceling an appointment — even though I canceled by replying to their text reminder and received a response saying, “Thank you for letting us know.” That was extremely frustrating. I had a great experiment today at mystic dental, the doctor was great with my usually nervous child. He had his teeth removed and he himself said it felt like magic with the doctor. He nearly didn’t feel anything. I was so happy as he was very anxious before coming in today. Now he’s happy and doing great right after his appointment.
