Murphy Foot and Ankle Medicine and Surgery

My wife was very disappointed with her visit to Dr. Murphy. He has a poor attitude and was quite rude throughout the appointment. Beyond the lack of professionalism, she felt pressured to purchase unnecessary products at significantly inflated prices. When she refused to buy what he suggested he got upset and would not talk to her any more - he basically threw her out. Although she refused to buy the suggested Unna boot and never took possession of it he still charged $ 60,-- for it and she had no choice but to pay for it when the bill arrived one year later!!!! What a rip off!!! Would not recommend this provider to anyone looking for respectful care or honest medical advice.

Had a 2-month ingrown toenail, the 2nd in my lifetime. Dr Murphy as soon as he saw it, walked me through the next steps. Every question I had was met with a knowledgeable answer. I felt like I was taken care of and had the problem portion of my toenail removed within an hour. Highly recommend!

Overall, Dr. Murphy and his staff are great. However, be aware they are very high on up-selling products. The latest...they sold us nail polish by Dani Pro for $45. You can buy this on Amazon for $20. Another item is Candyne Relieve roll on. Do your research before purchasing anything from this office.
