Edgewater MedFast Urgent Care | Walk-in Clinic | Emergency Quick Care

I ended up very sick while on vacation and went to MedFast. The facility is very clean, staff were very kind and the process was extremely fast. The most time consuming part of my visit was waiting for the poor girl at the front desk to verify my insurance since I was from out of state. Even she was kind and didn’t make me feel like it was the slightest inconvenience at all (and it was- she was on the phone for probably 15-20 min). Very highly recommend!

We normally go to Florida healthcare plans urgent Care because that is where insurance covers us the best. However, when my son got sick overnight Saturday Edgewater medfast was there and accepted our insurance on Sundays. The staff was all very nice, the wait time was minimal and The doctor ,Kami was awesome. She got us in and out and hopefully feeling better soon.

I was in and out within 30-40 minutes. Staff was prompt and professional. Jay was so kind and made me feel comfortable. Kami was great and very helpful. Thank you for getting me on my way to feeling better!

Injured my eye doing yard work on a Saturday afternoon. Wasn’t a bad injury but I wanted to make sure it wasn’t more serious and to prevent infection. It was my first visit so paperwork took a while, but once that was completed I got right in to see the Doctor (or PA, not sure ). She was thorough and competent, cleaned it, prescribed anti-biotic drops, and gave me instructions on care. She knew it was approaching closing time at the pharmacy so in addition to electronically sending the prescription she gave me a hard copy and suggested I go immediately to get it filled, which I needed when I arrived at CVS 10 minutes before the pharmacy closed (Kudos CVS for filling it). All in all I would most definitely recommend Med Fast Urgent care !! They were pleasant, knew what they were doing, asked questions and wasted no time, vitals were taken, oxygen level etc etc …Listened to heart n lungs, checked ears n throat..Prescription were faxed to the drug store and I was on my way home!! Such nice caring people
