Mountain View Animal Hospital

I was visiting Big Bear on vacation and brought my senior cat Serenity in Feb 2024. Out of nowhere she started throwing up and stopped eating. I reached out to Mountain View and explained the situation and they got me in immediately even in a snow storm. The staff was amazing, kind, and the veterinarian stood out in the sleet and rain answering all of my questions and explaining everything they did and were planning to do because they were still finishing up construction. She ended up having a case of pancreatitis. They treated her with medicine and advised us on a diet to give her for a bit. She made a full recovery and is still doing wonderful today. I only feel bad it took me this long to write a review, but I’ll never forget how wonderful everyone was.

My 9 year old german shepherd. This Vet Would not give him the correct pain medicine.He died in agony!! Only tramadol. Do not take your pet here. It's a killing factory they wanted to put him down immediately.He lived 6 months more. We did not experience the kindness that I expected at a veterinary clinic , and I had to beg for the medication for my Beloved Boy. Do not take your pet to To this killing factory.

Dr. D is the best. He has the best range of knowledge, Care, and expertise! His facility is clean and comfortable. My cats feel safe there. Through the years he’s been able to correctly diagnose and properly treat my pets better than any other vet. Today he even took extra time to discuss the dynamics and behavior between my fur babies, which is above and beyond. He’s honest and never recommends things that we don’t need just to earn revenue. Very trustworthy! Two paws up.

If I can give ZERO star I will. DONT BRING YOURE BELOVED ANIMAL IF YOU THINK IT IS LIFE AND DEATH SITUATION. We are having family vacation in Big bear but suddenly our 12 year old family dog became very lethargic cant get up or walk, tongue turning pale or purple, breathing and heart rate was fast and having new seizure, it was really sounds like emergency and looks like his dying. We are planning to bring him to the nearest Animal Emergency hospital which was in Redlands like 1 hour away but we decided to bring him here because it doesnt look like we can able to make it in Redland if we travel that far and hoping they can help us and give first aid like IV fluids to prolong or give us more time to travel him to emergency hospital.
