Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System Emergency Room

I went to the ER yesterday - 11/30/2025 and I have to say, my experience was phenomenal. The staff that took care of me: Dr. A. Siddiqi (ER Dr.), Lori M (RN), Michelle (Labs), Clinton (X-ray), and the admitting staff, were amazing! Their bedside manners were irreproachable. They were empathetic, kind, clear in their communication, and made me feel very comfortable, respected, and well-cared for. They answered all my questions in a kind and professional manner. They were EXCELLENT in every way. I wish I give them all a 100 stars!

We are new to the area from the SE WI area. There's lots of choices for ERs there. So when my wife got violently sick and this was our only immediate choice in the area I will admit seeing a 2 star hospital had me worried. How untrue that ended up being! I can't thank the absolute kindest staff ever. People who think ERs are supposed to be fast try a larger populated area! You'll wait 10hrs! We were triaged immediately by a very kind man didn't get the name but super nice. Came and even checked on us several times afterwards. The ladies working the front were extremely nice and helpful. The nurses let me just state for the record I have tons of nurse friends and family. It's one of the hardest jobs on earth. I’m not at all surprised that this place doesn’t have good reviews on different platforms. I came in with a really bad migraine and very high blood pressure. I told them I needed toradol and phenergen. There was about 10 or so people in the waiting room. After 2 hours only ONE person went back to get an x-ray and was brought right back out. She was told that it would be about 15 minutes to review her paperwork and they will go over her Xray, 2 hours later she was still sitting there. I was there between 3.5-4 hours and not one other person went back. Talk about terrible service. I heard Tennessee medical is terrible, but just wow. When the lady was brought out after her Xray the nurse was violating HIPPA laws big time. There was no privacy, discussing private matters in front of everyon

Hospital was clean and very friendly atmosphere. The Dr's and staff are there to help you and take time to talk to you and explain whatever is going on with you. Everyone is very courteous

This is the absolute worst hospital with the longest wait I’ve ever seen! How does it take so dang long to do some simple test. I was give it negatives if I could. It’s so nasty in this place. They literally have you out in the hallway and give you shots and talk about all your information in front of other patients
