Best dentist I've ever had! Everyone from reception, to the assistants, to the doctor himself are so kind, helpful, professional, and reassuring. The assistants remember me by name and are always great and explaining what the plan is and offering patience throughout the process. The doctor is very gentle, while providing fantastic results. The receptionists are very sweet & have been wonderful and helpful throughout the process of working through a insurance problem I've been dealing with ( it's 1000% on my insurance not at all on the office ). I have had anxiety about going to the dentist for years after an instance where a former dentist ( in my teens )slapped me and called me a 5 letter word mid appointment. That time lapse paired with heavy smoking and gaps of time uninsured has left

Disappointed, mainly due to billing and office communication (not the dentist) I wanted to leave this review for future patients because the billing and administrative follow-through were extremely frustrating. After my visits, I was given an out-of-pocket estimate for my fillings and paid that amount on the day of treatment. Later, I received additional billing that didn’t align with what my dental insurance EOB showed as my patient responsibility. I had to pull the EOB myself, compare line items, and send multiple follow-ups to get the office to reconcile the discrepancy. They eventually corrected the issue (including removing an overcharge), but only after a lot of back-and-forth and lack of clear explanation. Separately, I also requested a copy of my x-rays to be sent via email/voic

I had a great experience here! The hygienist got me all cleaned up, and Dr. Cho correctly identified an early cavity on one of my teeth, and gave me a treatment plan with options. Good value overall. I ended up getting the cavity filled by someone else, but I’d come back here anytime.

Having visited Union Bay Dental Care for the fifth time, I can confidently say I highly recommend them. Simona, Dr. Chu, and the entire team have been consistently fantastic—professional, understanding, and incredibly supportive. I even recommended them to my friend, who also had a great experience. 👏 The clinic is impeccably clean, and Dr. EJ ensured that the process was painless and comfortable. For UW students, life-wise insurance works seamlessly at Union Bay Dental Care, and I've yet to encounter any issues. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the service and would encourage others to give them a try. 👏💙

I'm so happy to have Dr Cho as my dentist. I had dental fears for many years which affected my health. Dr Cho is very supportive and experienced, so I feel confident in his care.
