Michael Heilig

Doctor Heilig is a heck of a doctor. One of the few orthopedic doctors that would rather not use the operating table as his first choice. 10/10 would recommend.

DO NOT USE!!!! He has been caught 3 times self prescribing himself opioids and using while in surgeries! Somehow the state hasn’t revoked his right to practice. This man is a piece of garbage! He destroyed my knee during a drugged up surgery! I’ve spent 7 years dealing with horrible repercussions of what he did to me! He should be in prison about practicing medicine. He has literally be temporarily stopped three times from practicing until he did 30 day drug rehabs! Should have had license taken in 2018 when he got caught very drugged up during a surgery, but no he’s been allowed to let it happen two more times since 2018.

He needs serious help for his addiction. He does not need to be operating on patients. He has ruined many lives by operating on people under the influence and these hospitals will do anything to cover it up. Look him up! Google his news stories. He needs to be jailed. His negative reviews have been removed and I’m sure this one will be as well. Stop protecting this man! He is an absolute danger to patients.

I’ve had various orthopedic surgeries over the last 8 years. Some by Dr. Heilig. The overall outcome of his surgeries was positive. The incisions were beautiful and healed quickly with very minimal scarring. My experiences with other surgeons were ok, but the differences in quality and skill were apparent.

I love Dr Heileg. Very knowledgeable and when he gives injection in my shoulder, I never feel pain.
