The staff of Kenwood loved my father during his last years. 🦋 Yes, of course they cared for him and met his needs; that's what they do, and they do that very well .. HOWEVER .. there's a big difference between just taking care of your patient, and truly LOVING and SERVING your FRIEND. ✨️ My father was treated like a best friend to everyone I met there; from the Director to the volunteer, and that's the truth. 🌼 Of course folks have their favorites; I loved watching my father's face light up when a certain someone would walk into the room. ☺️ I'm so grateful that Dad was a favorite to so many. 🌸 I couldn't possibly mention each team member at Kenwood but you each hold a special place in my heart. 🩷 I'm sooo grateful for your kindness to our family, and I can't fully express my appr

Kenwood Health & Rehab took such loving and compassionate care of my dad, James. It brought our family so much comfort knowing he was treated with kindness, respect, and dignity. We are truly grateful for the care and compassion shown to him during his time there. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.❤️

My great aunt stayed at Kenwood Health and Rehabilitation on D hall. I absolutely would not recommend to ANYONE!!! The nurses only care about being on their phones and are always on break !1! The aids run around relentlessly with zero help from the nurses. Every time I ask for the nurse the aids tell me he is on break, but I know he is outside smoking with some of the nurses and EVEN THE ADMINISTRATOR . I understand needing breaks for that as I am a smoker myself but it seems odd to me that every time I am there he’s on a ‘break’. I’ve never heard of a nurse getting so many breaks. Good for him, But at what’s cost,?? It is such a bad look for the facility to allow this and partake in such activities all day when patient care needs to happen.

I can say with confidence that I would trust my own loved ones with the staff at Kenwood! Not only do the employees enjoy their jobs, but they truly love the residents like family. The facility is always clean, and the kitchen is under new management so the meal quality/diversity has improved greatly!

My Mother-in-Law has been in Kenwood since mid February and the only issue we have really had is with the business office. The first issue with them is you have one of them telling you one thing and the other one telling you something different. They were supposed to let us know about payment for the month of March and I asked them to let us know by the 3rd of March if she would have to pay and if not we would pay her monthly bills. We get a call on March 10th saying she owed the March bill that was actually due by the 10th and if we didn't pay that it would look bad to the Administrator at Kenwood while her Medicaid was being processed. She made it sound like a threat if we didn't come up with the money. Here is where the big issue comes into play. Apparently they sent in an application t
