We've unfortunately had to use this ER for cardiac issues with my father-in-law a couple of times in the last two weeks. Both times we were very impressed with the care received from all of the staff. The nurses are knowledgeable and compassionate. The doctors were thorough and communicated well with us and his cardiologist and PCP. We were in and out in a very reasonable amount of time both times (also have great experience with their freestanding ERs in the past). Whenever there's something going on, we feel comforted knowing we'll get good care here and with any Methodist facility.
I had the privilege to have my baby at the L&D unit of this hospital. All I’ve got to say is OUTSTANDING WORK LADIES! ALL not just a few, ALL of my nurses were professional, helpful and just amazing. Huge thank you to my Nurse Yasinya (I hope I spelt it right) she was there with me, while I was crowning, walking me through the process as a FTM walking my husband through the process and she helped deliver my baby. A lot of other nurses I want to thank is Celina, Stephanie, Hydea, and plenty more! Dr John Kellum has a AMAZING labor and delivery department. Keep up the amazing work ladies! I’ll definitely be going back to have more babies at that hospital
We arrived at 6:30 AM for an early procedure. Parking and walkways are well illuminated and within close proximity to the entrance. We were immediately greeted by staff who assisted in completing required forms. A nurse met us and began prep for the procedure. We were kept updated throughout the morning and my wife was updated as my procedure progressed. All staff are very caring. The nursing and other clinical team members are very efficient and competent and communicate well with patients and family. Discharge was smooth and without incident. Overall an excellent experience.
I was actually going to put a 5 star. However it felt off today. I went to the emergency room via EMS for severe, acute pain that was intense enough to cause hyperventilation and inability to lie flat. On 1/17/26. I have a complex spinal history, including prior surgeries and neurological complications, which I made staff aware of. I am autistic, and my pain expression can be intense and fluctuate depending on positioning and whether I am being spoken to. While being asked questions, I was still in pain but attempting to answer. This was later documented as if my pain “stopped when distracted,” which is not an accurate or fair interpretation of what was happening. I felt dismissed and not believed, despite obvious distress. The implication that my pain was exaggerated was extremely upsett
I was admitted for left arm weakness. Nursing staff during the day on my first day and then night was great, but my concern is with the lack of communication from the Hospitalist (Dr.). It wasn't until mid-afternoon the 2nd day that she finally came by to tell me I would be discharged and to go see my primary physician. No diagnosis, no this is what I think is going on...THEN, it took 2 1/2 hours for nursing staff to actually discharge me. And that only happened because my wife found a nursing manager that did it herself (which took less than 3 minutes; just had to do 1 signature) after the nurse manager asked 3 nurses at the desk if anyone could do it and they all ignored her.
