Methodist Hospital Metropolitan

I would like to take a moment to thank the staff at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan. The check-in at the ER was so fast and easy. The medical staff on the 4th floor cardiovascular were amazing! Especially Alma, Ky, Michael, Celina, Kayla and Dr. Patel. Also Mary Jane who helped with my mom's personalized cafeteria orders. And lastly, the housekeeping staff as well. I just wanted to say our family appreciates the care that you gave to my mom while she stayed there. Thank you all so much!

From start to finish, my experience at this hospital was outstanding. I came in for a complex kidney stone procedure and was understandably nervous, but the entire team made me feel informed, safe, and genuinely cared for. The doctors were highly skilled and took the time to explain everything clearly. The nursing staff went above and beyond — attentive, compassionate, and always checking in on my comfort and concerns. Even during a stressful situation, they kept things calm and reassuring. The facility was clean, organized, and well run. Every department I interacted with worked smoothly together, which made a big difference in my recovery and peace of mind. I'm going to start off with suggestions that could have been done differently upon my registration and stay here. I would have liked it to be informed through my registration the link sent to my phone to sign in to deliver my second child here at the Methodist things such as being hydrated and having at least one last meal before being induced. I had never been induced before and the experience had its challenges and I say that because after I delivered my child I was extremely dehydrated although I received the IV I needed to drink plenty of water in order for my headache to be no more. I am advocating for myself because I will want someone else to advocate for themselves as well. I was accused of being dizzy more than once after I said that I was not dizzy any longer. This entire staff was So nice and compassionate. I enjoyed all the care they committed themselves toward my visit. I can only say this was the Best care I have ever experienced. From the registration through thefinal drop off at your vehicle. It made me so happy and I did mention it to all of them. God bless the entire team who put there heart into such beautiful care.

It was an amazing positive experience- the folks working on me were professional- caring and compassionate.. You can train for professionalism but the empathy shown is internal and so much appreciated… special thanks to my nurse and all her experience and the young lady handling the sonogram for the Dr. // having had a traumatic experience during Covid and there care was of importance
