Methodist ER City Base

First time going to this location and was amazed by the quick service provided. I was immediately taken into a room and was there no longer than 30-40 mins. I was given my diagnosis based on the tests they took and given care instructions. Everyone was kind and loved the doctors empathy and sense of humor. Sometimes we can’t change the result so laughing is the next thing. I will go again if needed! Hopefully not anytime soon.

Confirmed my hesitation about going to the doctor. I went here because I had excruciating ear pain at times and could not hear from both ears due to wax buildup. My provider was Morgan K Li. When he checked my ears he said they were fine just irritated and was gunna prescribe me some steroid drops. I told him I literally couldnt hear, that they were not fine and all i wanted was for them to irrigate my ears. They finally did after trying to avoid doing it. BUT the doctor turned on the cold tap water to fill the machine and when we asked him if it was warm (like it should be) he said “yeah its lukewarm”. It was COLD which made me extremely dizzy, I could barely walk out of there and my mom had to drive me home. Also the doctor asked the nurse to help him irrigate my ears and she didnt know

Dr did not get important information like the fact I have hemophilia or go over 13 medicines I am on or what antibotics I am allergic to. If I allergic to the antibotics giving at home becuse of this. Also dod not mix with other medication I was on with serious heart problems when taking them together. Front nurse ask questions but does not communicate with the Dr. Then I was not even fully checked. Just one ear looked at. I have seen 2 more Dr's after becuase I should have been given stronger antibiotics for chest congestion, sinus infection, etc. Had to get injected antobotics etc. Dr at er there did not get medical history (which i provided), medications i am on (brought with me), or allergy list (meds I allergic to list). Did not listen to lungs, take blood pressure, nothing.. I have h

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had in a medical Facility. I want to be very clear the entire staff was great EXCEPT for doctor that was on duty today. I advice that you reconsider his employment with yall. I’ll explain why below — I am not the type to go to doctors ever. I do not feel medically well though so I made an appointment at the clinic near my town Poteet & unfortunately, I was not able to make it. They’re closed on the weekends. I do not feel safe waiting until Monday, so I called this facility to make sure they were able to help they said they could so I made the 1hr drive there. I am positive there’s an internal issue going on with my body. I can sense my liver shutting down I can sense my immune system not so strong. I am developing an infection. Infectio

The website said 3 min er wait time but we got service immediately, lobby was empty. Front desk receptionist was very nice and quick to register my son. We were called and given a room within 5 minutes. The doctor was in the room after about 7 minutes after explaining to the nurse the reason for our visit. Dr and nurses were very kind to my son explaining what they were doing before they did anything so he wasn’t scared or crying. They did an awesome job and made it super fast. I’m definitely coming back to this location again when we need to. -ER TEAM- KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK😁
