Meijer Pharmacy

I have been a long time customer and over the last several years this pharmacy has gone from great and helpful, to completely awful. My mom swapped pharmacies already and I think I’m going to as well. If 2 meds are supposed to be ready, only one is, PA that that get overlooked and not handled for other meds, out of stock seizure meds that we get on a monthly basis. I’ve waited over a month for an inhaler for one of my children. Not sure if it’s lack of trainer, pure laziness, complete over-site or all of the above. But now that it’s been issue after issue, I’d rather go anywhere else. You are dealing with people’s health and need to do better.

We came in today to get our prescriptions. One of the prescriptions is an OTC medication. Everywhere I have ever gotten medicine they will have your OTC prescription ready at the window to save you a trip, but we were told we would have to come in to the store to get it off the shelf. I'm giving 3 stars because generally, I love Meijer pharmacy. But this is so strange and very inconvenient.

They will mess your prescriptions up. They will make you pick up your prescriptions They have extremely long wait times on your prescriptions. Also, another note that they will have shortage on your prescriptions. I highly recommend finding somewhere else to get your prescriptions. Do not go here.

I have very basic routine medication. Not the antidote to Ebola or anything crazy like that. The last six times (yes, seriously six times) I've been to pick up my prescriptions they've been out of medicine - sold out - gone - sorry about your luck. The phone AI person always says they'll be ready for pick up at a certain time that day and I'll show up that day or even the next day and they still won't be available. I explained this to the actual humans there and they said it would be later on that day. I said alright. Never received a call or anything later that day and it's now the next day. So I guess they're still out of my basic medication or they got it in finally but didn't care to let me know. Either way, I'm thinking it's time to find another pharmacy that can dispense basic prescr

Wow. I was astounded at how monotone, rude, and unhelpful this pharmacy was. When I kindly asked them to please let me know the side effects they said “well obviously you’ll have more of what it treats for a few days and a couple side effects” when no, it’s not obvious to me, actually. I’m not a pharmacist…that is why I asked… Then they insisted I didn’t have a profile, when I do, and they said I had to let them know it’s under “Katherine.” I get that, but “Katie” is a common nickname for Katherine. You’d think if I had the last name and my birthdate and the fact I’ve gone there every month without fail for the last 7 years they’d have the courtesy to ask “could it be under a “longer name”?
