MedStar Health: Urgent Care at California

I had to take a moment to express my gratitude to the nurses, drs and the receptionist when I came in for treatment. I was truly miserable and honestly scared to go into an urgent care (Can’t remember the last time I visited one) but, oh my goodness they were so nice and truly sympathetic and genuinely cared about how miserable I felt. The receptionist was so nice and patient with me. The Dr was truly caring and listened!!, honestly everyone was so nice. Thank you for all you do!!

I have been to this urgent care many times over the past couple of years without an appointment and they always do a good job. They register quickly, triage quickly and have us in a room seeing a provider in a reasonable time. It is an urgent care so it’s expected that you’ll have to wait a hour or two. The providers and staff have always been nice to both my son and I and overall I’ve never had a bad experience. I would recommend to anyone that they go here for their care.

The personnel were very friendly. We had an appointment and didn't wait long to go back. The triage person was great. As soon as we got to a room, the doctor walked in. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. Overall a great experience and I would recommend them.

When I got to urgent care I felt like crap, everyone was very kind, compassionate and caring doing everything they had to do to make me feel better had some Covid test and flu test RSV and came back positive for Covid. The doctor that I had was very nice. I truly loved her and wished that she was a regular practicing doctor because I would find out where she is and that’s she would be my new doctor. I walked in this afternoon, with no appointment, and was treated so kindly by Stephanie, the receptionist. Then Lona, the nurse technician, took me back to the room and explained everything she was doing and the times that it would take to get the test results back. Then she took me to a room.. and Michael Worlet, the doctor, came in and was so kind and explained everything too The x-ray kit technician, Andrea, was very efficient and kind as well. Then at the very end because of some ice around the sidewalk Tonya, a nurse technician walked me outside and made sure I was in my car with the door shut before she left. They are a well oiled machine and highly recommended for anyone who needs urgent care
