Love this pharmacy. They actually answer the phone!!! After years of using CVS and being frustrated, I am so happy I switched to MedRx. Friendly and efficient and very helpful. Give these guys a try.

With Rite-Aid closing down everywhere, I wanted to take the opportunity to support a smaller pharmacy chain, so I went with Medi-Rx after a short search. I didn't think patient access and discrimination could get this scary in California. I had two prescriptions to transfer in from Rite-Aid, so I gave them a couple days before calling to make sure they had time to receive and process both. When I called, I was told not only that they won't fill either, but that the reasoning was due to a "meeting with the DEA next week for an audit, we are just trying to minimize risk". I was, of course, quite confused by this response/refusal: is that even legal to deny healthcare access based on your business needs? Bait and switch pricing. My doctor sent over two prescriptions, 90-days each prescription. I was quoted $14 and $8 online and over the phone to confirm. However, once I arrived, I got the bait and switch. I discovered that they gave me 30-day fills and charged me $30. When I asked why I was being charged more, they said "we are already giving you a discount" and simply refused to honor the original pricing. I feel cheated. I am pissed off. If you are considering using this pharmacy, be forewarned that the price over the phone will NOT be the price once you arrive. Furthermore, check to make sure you receive the supply you ordered.

Sure wonderful people that work there, so helpful the pharmacist Sean is so knowledgeable and Edith and Junior are just absolute Delights they know what they're talking about they're very kind a wonderful Specialty Pharmacy I recommend anybody going there
