Med First Primary & Urgent Care - Statesville

My first appointment was great, the doctor listened and spent adequate time with me. Could not have asked for better service! However, since my appointment I have called and left multiple messages for a call back from the clinical team, and have not heard a thing.. and it's important! So my opinion is this, the doctor is great but the office staff needs some different management and training perhaps. Update.... I have been waiting for a MRI order to be sent in for 3 months. Novant continued telling me they had no order, so I made an appointment to find out why. Dr Mel said he would have it sent to Iredell. Still nothing has been sent. So again, I believe Dr. Mel is amazing, however the office staff is far from it. I mean how hard is it to just send the order to the right place. 3 mo is a l

Doctor Mel is very thorough, polite, and caring.He listens to your needs and provides great medical advice, care and support.They strive to get clients in at a fair waiting time. The only thing is my insurance won't pay for something he prescribed ,patches I can't afford to pay out of pocket has to be in a different form and I can't get nobody to call me back 😭😭 but I loved Dr Mel he was so nice 🙂 I had to pay almost $200 out of pocket because I couldn't find my Medicaid card I don't know why she couldn't pull up that's all the money I had basically
