After constant uraniting and burning for multiple weeks I was referred to doctor Bandyk. He proceeded to tell me there was nothing wrong with me and in so many words all the pain was in my head. He also said the constant uraniting was because I was drinking to much even though he never ask how much I was drinking. Also he told me about all his other patients who think they are in pain and that there is nothing wrong with them either. After my waist of time and money of a visit I called and made an appointment with Baptist urology in Fernandina. They got me scheduled in just a week. Baptist urology was amazing they gave me two possible diagnosis, started treatment and scheduled a follow-up. Three weeks later I am 90% better. Dr. Bandyk is a nice man. However, he is completely useless and not knowledgeable to the many, many options that can be used either in combination with or instead of prescription drugs. I'm self pay (we pay cash for doctor visits). Just recently, my husband experienced very frequent urination - the urge to pee every 10-15 minutes and not being able to empty his bladder. To the point of disrupting his life. This doctor proceeds to tell him that he must be drinking too much water and/or coffee. Absolutely ridiculous! It has to be pretty serious for him to go to a doctor. His water and coffee intake has not changed in over 20 years.
