Been regularly coming for almost a year now because of my shoulder injury. The masseuses have been accommodating for my condition and are well skilled to help with some relief in my recovery process. The rates are very reasonable as well - especially meaningful given they don’t take insurance like most massage providers conveniently located in the middle of the SLU.

Don't waste your money/health there. I would NOT recommend this place, as my experience raised serious concerns about professionalism and patient safety. The most critical issue is communication: aside from the manager, no staff member is able to speak or clearly understand English. For a licensed medical provider, this is a major problem, as effective communication is essential to understanding patient needs and delivering proper care. This issue extends beyond in-person visits and includes difficulties when trying to schedule appointments. In a medical setting, miscommunication can lead to serious consequences—for example, reporting pain in one area and receiving treatment for something else. I randomly stumbled upon Mama’s Massage in Lake Union, and I am so glad I did—this place is a total gem! What started as a spontaneous visit has now turned into my new go-to spot for massages. The ladies here are incredibly kind and welcoming, and they immediately made me feel at ease. The massage itself was amazing, just the right amount of pressure, super thorough, and clearly done with care and experience. I walked out feeling relaxed, refreshed, and totally recharged.
