Macungie Community Pharmacy

A prescription was called in by the doctor and we heard nothing from the pharmacy for several days. When we called, the pharmacy employee said they didn’t have the full refill amount and had ordered more. We could’ve picked up the partial order—which they should have told us previously, but didn’t inform us of until we called—but said if we waited until the following afternoon (Saturday) that they would have the new shipment and the entire order filled. The hours on Google show 10 am-2 pm Saturdays, but the employee on the phone said that we could pick up the prescription anytime before 4 pm on Saturday afternoon. We confirmed several times that closing was actually at 4 pm Saturday. They said yes. We had earlier obligations that day, and so upon showing up when we could at 3:30 pm on Satu

Planning on transferring to this pharmacy after my first rx pickup today even though it’s totally out of the way for me. But I’m so willing to make the drive. Staff is very personable and greets every person as they walk through the door with friendly conversation and willingness to help. Im very glad my doctor recommended this pharmacy!

Hands down the WORST pharmacy I’ve ever been to. They showed up at my door unannounced, even though I wasn’t home and couldn’t sign for my meds. They once told me they’d be there before 5 when I had plans and had to cancel My whole day waiting for these incompetents - only to not even receive the medication I needed! Rude staff, will argue with you and constantly put you on hold after any simple question. Terrible experience. 0/5 I highly recommend Rapid RX Pharmacy instead. They know what they’re doing.

This pharmacy is beyond amazing! After having problem after problem with other pharmacies and our own insurance company the staff here got our situation taken care of like it was nothing. A special shout out to Brittney who worked on this as if we were their only patients. She called the original pharmacy, our Doctor as well as our insurance company to ensure we would get what we needed. I am amazed that this "Mom and Pop" business out performed the big chains. I cannot say enough good things about the rest of the staff and Bill (the owner) who took personal interest with our needs. I can only imagine the satisfaction of long time patients who have been with them for a longer period. Keep up the good, NO, GREAT work . Thank you again, so very much !!

After 2 pharmacies not being able to fill my Rx, I googled pharmacy near me and Macungie Community pharmacy came up. I called and Becky was very friendly and helpful! She said they could fill my Rx within minutes, and she was right! I arrived there and everyone working was so welcoming and friendly! They had my medicine ready for me within 5-10 minutes and I was on my way. Best pharmacy experience I’ve ever had! Will be using them as my regular pharmacy from now on!
