Lehigh Valley Hospital–Macungie

I cannot say enough great things about this place. I needed medical attention late Saturday night and I opted to come here instead of LVHN - CC thinking it would be quicker. From the minute I walked in the door the receptionist was so polite and I was taken back maybe 15 minutes after arrival. My nurse George who was an Army Ranger Veteran was absolutely amazing as was Dr. Murphy. I was in and out in 1.5 hours and the level of care was exemplary!

I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency of the entire staff. Tests were performed quickly and nurses were very attentive. The entire facility is extremely clean and still appears to be brand new. I could not be more pleased with the care and I highly recommend this location for emergency care.

I took my wife in last night. She had gotten some ghost pepper juice in her eye and it was pretty bad. The wait wasn’t terrible, but honestly there were 3 maybe 4 cars in the lot so I would have preferred it be less than 10 or 15 minutes to be seen being that it is an emergency room. The Dr and nurses were very young and that wasn’t a good feeling. At one point they were trying to figure out how to hook up the eye flush and the nurses were discussing the fact that they were very good at McGuyver’ing stuff at work lately. Very little sympathy and even less understanding. We were told that she could go home and that they just needed to grab the discharge papers. We waited about 30 minutes until I walked out and asked if we could just go because she wasn’t sent home with medication. The young

I was in and out for a CT scan in 20 minutes. The staff was polite and the technician was professional and good at his job.

This is the best place!! As soon as you walk through the door you feel welcomed and safe. The registration nurses and the direct care nurses are fantastic. I went there today with an infected cyst that I should have had removed years ago. Dr. Schoenfeldt was amazing . Without hesitation he numbed the area cut out the abscess and packed it. He's quite a personality too. Professional but funny and very compassionate. Quite a snappy dresser too. 😂Everybody there including the security guard are so nice. All together from triage to discharge was 40 minutes. So skip the big hospital and go to the micro hospital. They do mostly everything and if you need the big hospital they will transfer you.
