2/5/26 I can't make another review so updating this one. Dr. Taddeo was amazing and very kind seeing Boaz this past Monday when he was very ill. She did her best and treated him to well this Tuesday when I rushed him in as he was dying. If anything good came from this its knowing he had multiple vets here that actually cared about him. 8/21/25 Just an update. Dr Meyer has been taking care of my GSD Boaz this past week and been very amazing. Patty at the front desk is also always very friendly and helpful too! 5/21/24 updated review. Dr Mendlowitz was amazing once again, Chloe didn't even bark or show signs of her normal anxiety this time. Dr. Taddeo is truly exceptional. She recently performed surgery on my dog, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care, skill, and compassion her and the staff showed throughout the entire process. She is incredible with all breeds of dogs, and her experience with English Bulldogs is especially impressive. From start to finish, her knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals set her apart. Highly recommend LAC and Dr. Taddeo to anyone looking for top-tier vet care.

The front desk staff were very nice and welcoming with it being our first time visiting with our new puppy, especially the gentleman who checked us in (I wish I could remember his name to give him a shoutout because he was great). However, we will not be returning due to the unsettling experience we had with the doctor. During the examination we were informed that 4 month old American Bully may develop Cryptorchidism due to his left testical not dropping. She mentioned that this could potentially lead to cancer! We instantly panicked and she followed her comment by stating “if you guys are looking to breed him you may want to reconsider and get him neutered ASAP”. These guys were great with my traumatized rescue GSD. The worst thing she did was chomp the hand of the tech giving her treats. Evaluation was thorough, Dr. Meyer covered all areas, and scheduling the next appointment was easy. These same folks took care of my senior cat Clementine when she got diagnosed with cancer. So I trusted with this dog that needs a lot of love.

Lyndhurst Animal has been helpful from the beginning of my first puppy experience. My Jellybean is not the easiest Boxer and they are always so patient. This week Jelly was sprayed by a skunk. We took care of it but days later she had been vomiting everyday. I called Friday afternoon to just check that this was due to the skunk and nothing serious. Rachel (part of the staff) on the phone empathized with me and told me what to do. She double checked with the vet and when the vet said if she threw up again she would need to come in Rachel immediately told me that we should schedule an appointment the following day just in case she got sick again. Jellybean ended up being fine and I canceled the appointment first thing on Saturday. Most vets wouldn’t give too much support or advice over the p
