Luna Beck MD and Associates

My experience with Dr Beck has been a poor one. She never even touched her patients. She said I was a hypochondriac because I did some research on my diagnoses and does like any comments about treatments. . She has been Very condescending to me and she has a poor bed side manor and has not done much to help my medical issues. I’ve suffered for two years with extreme hip/groin pain and all she did was recommended some tests then when she didn’t have an answer she sent me to pain management. I don’t recommend her for a Dr.

My experience with Dr. Luna Beck was extremely negative, and I would rate her service as zero stars if possible. As a senior caregiver with extensive experience accompanying patients to various medical appointments throughout Ocala, Summerfield, Oxford, The Villages, and surrounding areas, I can definitively state that Dr. Beck demonstrated a significant lack of patient care and disregard for both patient and family concerns. She consistently dismissed input, reacted defensively to any attempts to communicate concerns, and exhibited condescending behavior. Furthermore, Dr. Beck imposed restrictive policies regarding patient accompaniment, requiring her personal approval even for family members of individuals with conditions like dementia. I’m the son of a long time patient with a durable POA. I’ve never experienced a more unprofessional medical doctor as Ms Beck. I live very far away and would like to rely on common courtesy to keep me informed. She doesn’t extend that courtesy. So while I’m here caring for my mom in hospital, she still refuses to take my call knowing I can only stay for a short week before returning to work. If you are a patient under her care with remote family support, be forewarned.

True story... We are snowbirds and needed to establish a primary care physician in Florida. Scheduled an initial consult visit with Dr. Beck and afterward staff insisted I schedule a 6 month follow-up visit. I questioned the need for another visit so soon as I am a healthy 60 y.o. male with no serious underlying health issues. Was informed it was Dr. Becks policy and if I didn't need the appointment I could just call and cancel it. I didn't need the visit, called and cancelled it well in advance. A short time later I received a certified letter in the mail from Dr.Beck informing me to seek another PCP. She had dropped me from her practice after one visit stating I had violated her office policies by canceling an appointment and that I needed to take my health more seriously. Didn't care

Like many others, if I could leave zero stars, I would. Dr. Beck has a horrible bedside manner, is the most condescending doctor I have ever encountered and God forbid if you ask her questions, she becomes immediately defensive. I do not personally feel she actually cares about the health and well-being of her patients at all. She even has the audacity to mutter insults to her staff about patients that they can clearly hear. If you care about your health or the health of your loved ones, please find another doctor. (Disclaimer- Writing this review on behalf on multiple family members who have been patients of hers)
