Dr van de Leur & the Orthopedic Institute staff are efficient, friendly, attentive & professional in both the Brownwood & Summerfield offices. Dr Timothy van de Leur was professional, caring, and easy to understand when he thoroughly explained the X-ray results, diagnosis & recommended anterior hip replacement surgery. He patiently addressed my concerns & answered all my questions. I felt confident that I had chosen a very competent surgeon. The surgery was very successful. I followed his orders for a successful rehab by walking at home every waking hour and icing as needed for pain & swelling. I didn’t even need the prescription pain meds. Dr. Van de Leur is an excellent physician. I felt during my last visit that I was with a caring relative and someone who truly cared! I would recommend him to anyone who could use his services. Having read some of the other comments, I feel bad that they had disappointed results. I still need to do more myself in strength development. That has nothing to do with Dr Van de Leur. Again, I feel he is excellent and anyone who has been to an office visit will attest to a thorough and a caring conversation.

I’ve had experience with Dr Vande Leur for the last four years, everything has been exceptional. He replaced my hip and is a fantastic doctor. His office staff however needs work!

If you are looking for a surgeon for hips/knees, I highly recommend Dr Van De Leur at Orthopedic Institute. I had both hips replaced. There were no complications, and the recovery time was not long.
