Dr. Porter and her staff are amazing! They are always kind and welcoming when I have come In. Once you go back in a room the atmosphere is still the same. I leave happier and more informed every time I left.

This is a continuation from my last visit about 6 months ago, at that time they insisted on these particular X-rays of course not covered by my insurance, so I agreed understand they were not covered, so moving on, a person came in and started polishing my teeth, then after a long wait, the dentist came in did some very quick cleaning with the water tool, and said ok I’m done, not realizing she had issues with my wife because she had questioned the X-rays, i don’t remember seeing a hygienist, don’t remember all the details but ended up receiving a call from the office, don’t remember who called but remember the person mentioning my pocket measurements which was strange because they did not do the measurements, I questioned it, but no good answer, so anyways after a couple calls I agreed to

The hygienist polished the teeth before they were cleaned. Oral examination was very skimpy. No manual palpating of the floor to check salivary glands as well as the upper neck. I was charged an additional $171.00 to cover a periodontal exam. The problem was they never ascertained the depths of the pockets and document the recession of gums. This practice failed in what I consider “Standards of Care”. They are friendly and polite however. I am paying for services improperly rendered.

Awesome dentist! My kids have been seen here for many years now. We still make the drive up there even after we moved.

Dentist office has questionable procedures… I was not willing to have X-rays done that were not covered by insurance… after a much longer wait than usual dentist came in and said they would not be doing any services…. Mind you we have been going to this office for 2-3 years… I won’t good into all the details here but be aware if you question the dentist she gets very defensive ….
