Staff does everything they are capable of and some of the reviews lead me to believe people don't understand the work load an office can have. There is a long wait time, but the doctors and staff genuinely do care about each and every patient. There seems to be more work than employees, but they all make my experience here a pleasurable one. My suggestion? Book appointments in the morning, or bring a book. Schedule annuals a year in advance since they are yearly. Double check on scripts and get a copy of your referral so if the specialist doesn't call you you have the number. Always bring your insurance card. Lastly, ask questions, during your appointment and at check out. Don't leave unless you know you have everything you need.

Linden Tree works as a strict business neglecting patient care! Staff is terrible and completely unhelpful. I have been to this heath center since I was a child but upon attending the University of Rhode Island for the past 4 years I have seen a physician on campus. When I called this afternoon (Friday) to get an appointment because I am an asthmatic who is suffering from this humidity. I was told very rudely that since I have not seen a doctor in three years I would not be able to see anyone until August. I explained that I was very uncomfortable and that my prescriptions were low. I was basically told that was too bad and that I could either go to a walk in clinic or the hospital. So much can be said for just being nice to one another, and while I read all these negative comments about how horrible the staff is and how terrible the office is run, I can't help but wonder how some of those complainers may have been coming into their situations. Sure, you have a need and maybe a frustrating issue and of course your health is of the utmost importance, but the staff is there to convey your message and maintain hundreds, possibly thousands of other cases just like yours. It's taxing, it's difficult, and it can become very frustrating at times for everyone involved, including the staff. By approaching the team with this in mind, I've always been kind and understanding to the point of apologetic for my own concerns and issues, and the result has always been an equally kind

I've been going here for years, and it has literally never been anything but a nightmare. The office staff are rude, whenever you have an issue they claim to not know what you're talking about and are not willing to help or work with you to resolve whatever is going on. Getting them on the phone is more difficult than getting Barack Obama himself on the phone, especially if you happen to call during their absurdly long lunch break during which their phones are completely shut down. Most recently, they have failed to send an insurance referral for me to a specialist- a referral that I have been requesting for 6 months. They've told me multiple times it was "all set", and then the next thing I know, the specialist is telling me they haven't received the referral and have also not been able

I've had quite a few medical issues in my life and interacted with numerous medical professionals and their staff. Those experiences have not always gone so well and adversely affected my healing. I'm an intelligent and sensitive woman with high expectations of those in healthcare. Dr. Deleo and the Linden Tree Southcoast office have been outstanding in every aspect and have made a positive impact on the quality of my life. I should have weighed in long before now.
