My first experience at Portsmouth Dental Associates was wonderful. They were able to accommodate a new patient exam and a cleaning within the same day. The assistant Pat was so kind and Dr. Ramos was very thorough with his exam. Becky, the hygienist, gave me the best cleaning I’ve had in a long time! I will definitely be returning.

This was my first visit to PDA, and while I typically do not post reviews and/or get excited about my dental visits, this was a great experience that was worth mentioning. The entire staff was very cordial and professional. While I dread having to go to my MD visits, I always look forward to my semi-annual checkup and teeth cleaning!

I made a mistake when booking my appointment and thought they had nitrous for my anxiety when I call. I confused them with their sister office in Newport that does but they treated me so kindly and took lovely care of me. They helped me avoid trauma and discomfort. It’s rare to find a dentist that cares that much and the doctor was an extremely nice person. He went above and beyond to address my concerns. Overall I would highly recommend this office for your dental needs. They are gentle and you feel listened to.

Trust me, between the excellent staff and amazing equipment, there's no reason for dental anxiety here!! I am so impressed with Dr. May and all the staff here at Portsmouth Dental Associates. Of the several years I've been here, Jenny has taken great care of me. She is the most attentive, caring, and skilled hygienist I've ever met. I never have to repeat whereabouts of my teeth are sensitive, I am always greeted a smile, and each time I leave feeling so refreshed I only wish I could go in for a cleaning each week... I used to hate going to the dentists but now I am excited to schedule my next appointment.
