Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehab Center of Johnston County

This nursing facility is top-of-the-line my mother Rosa been there. The nurse and the staff and Everybody is very professional. I feel very comfortable knowing that my mother‘s there in great hands. When it comes to cleanness, its 100% facility is clean. Bathrooms are clean. Don’t have to worry about my mother. Tammy Watkins is very Professional and is on top of everything.She runs the nursing home like a fine oil machine. My opinion they are the best nursing home in the Carolinas . I recommend family and friends to put their loved ones in there.

My loved one recently came home after a extended stay in rehab at Liberty, and I honestly don’t know what we would have done without the help of Jackie Social Director, Kristy admissions, Jessica admissions, and the incredible CNAs and nurses on the rehab halls. They cared for my family member with so much kindness, patience, and consistency, and they often helped with things that weren’t even their responsibility. Their support made a very hard time feel manageable. I also want to mention Darren from dietary. He was always so courteous, and the food was genuinely very good. It made a big difference for my loved one’s comfort and recovery. I do wish there was stronger administrative support from the leadership team. I was here previously and the care and treatment were really good. I was sent to unc Johnston for 3 weeks due to an intestinal issue and upon my return I was placed in a semi private room which I found out was due to my insurance, I’m ok with that but what I’m not okay with is the difference in treatment and management ignoring my concerns medical and personal treatment. The male nurse supervisor on the weekend not letting me speak but it’s perfectly fine for him to raise his voice to me, but I’m not allowed, or the dr who completely ignores my back pain. Or when you want to use the restroom which requires assistance and you have to wait until the empty lunch trays are collected, it’s great to know you rate right under empty lunch trays. Can’t recommend

I can not express how pleased our family is for Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehab of Johnston County! My father was placed their for over 3 weeks in short-term Skilled Rehab and during this time my mother was also placed their in the Assisted Living section at their facility. The admission's team (Jessica & Kristy) were both so helpful in assisting our family and answering all of our questions. They were able to accommodate all our needs from admissions to discharge professionally and with a caring spirit. The PT & OT team were outstanding and helped our father with his multiple fractures to exercise towards healing and restoring him back to walking again. The facility's Nurses & Aides are all SO patient and kind ( my parents were on 800 and 600 hall) and my parents never had a negativ

My 85-year old dad just completed about 7-weeks of short-term rehab at Liberty Commons in Benson, and I could not be happier with his stay there. The entire staff, including the directors, social workers, nurses, therapists, and aides were wonderful with my dad, and always super friendly and accommodating to me and my many questions. I visited my dad on average about every other day, and each and every time I was greeted with smiles and a willingness to answer my questions about my dad's progress. Even the receptionist at the front desk greeted me with smiles. The day my dad was admitted, I met with one of the directors, and they assured me that he would be well taken care of, and they would always be available for me and my questions or concerns.
