Leonard Florence Center for Living

Recently had major back surgery for long standing issues. As the hospital stay ended, my wife worked to find a suitable rehab center. Decided on the Leonard Florence Center for Living. Will be discharged after 3 weeks. Really nice facility. Very professional medical staff. Received excellent Physical and Occupational Therapy which challenged me the right amount to ensure building strength and agility. Provided guidance for post-discharge. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

My mother stayed at the rehab following knee replacement surgery. The facility is clean and welcoming. The staff is wonderful and caring. Overall, expectations were exceeded and extremely satisfied with the services my mother received. Thank you!

I am writing this to personally thank everyone at the Leonard Florence Center for Living for the incredible care they provided my father during his time there in January. From the moment he was hospitalized, it was hard and scary for my family not knowing what the outcome would be. Fortunately, he was stabilized at the hospital but after a week he required rehabilitation and physical therapy to aid in a full recovery. This is where I’m especially grateful to Joyce. Her dedication in helping my father transition into your facility, even when it seemed like he might be sent far away, made all the difference. My sister recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Leonard Florence rehabilitation center, and I must say that the nursing care was far from satisfactory. While I understand that medical rehab can be challenging, the level of service and attention my sister received was disappointing. From the moment my sister arrived, it was clear that communication was not a priority for the nursing staff. Important information about my sisters care plan was not adequately shared with me. Whenever I had questions or concerns, it seemed like pulling teeth to get any answers. Calls for assistance often went unanswered, leaving my sister feeling neglected and frustrated. The nurses appeared to be overworked and understaffed, which might explain the lack of attention to individual patient

Thank you so much to everyone at the Leonard Florence Center for taking such wonderful care of my mother. I never had to worry for a second about her safety or wellbeing while she was at rehab. I love how home-like the facility is. The unit is bright and the staff always greeted us with a smile when we visited. This is NOT a nursing home. This was a home away from home where my mom got the care she needed to get back to her home safely. Thank you so much.
