When I went for my eye exam, the optometrist was very confusing - he kept telling me I had 20/20 vision, but I don't because I wear glasses and then he'd agree that I didn't, then say I did, again. After I was finished I waited to have my frames (that were given to me for Christmas) fitted with the RX lenses. Kept waiting and waiting and waiting. Finally a guy comes out of the back room and without really talking to me gets the lenses ordered. I have really good insurance (Cigna) and supposedly it covered 150 dollars but still my lenses came to almost 500 dollars. Yes, they are progressive lenses, but I've never spent that much on them before. Also, my insurance didn't cover the eye exam itself, and that's not possible, because that's the first thing it should have taken care of. Any
