Lehigh Valley Hospital–Carbon

I had to get an Echo Cardiogram done, a heart test. I was SO nervous... My tech, Lindsay Jelski was FABULOUS. She put all my fears aside. Her personality is a pure asset to her position. She was pleasant and super efficient but it was her ability to relate to my concerns and make me totally at ease that made get though this without the extreme anxiety I suffer from. She's the Best. Thank you

Went there on 02/17/2026 to the ER with severe left chest pain, bp 190/103 and shortness of breath. Mind you I have a significant history of cardiac disease, Miss Dr. Kara A Johnson thought I was there to get high on morphine and refused to give me any pain killer strong enough to take the pain away. While still in pain and discomfort she discharged me, I proceeded to another hospital not associated with them where they took me serious and gave me meds, admitted me, performed a cardiac Cath the next afternoon, and got diagnosed with endothelial dysfunction of the right coronary artery. It’s shame one doctor has totally made me lose trust in your facility there in Lehighton.

Rushed my wife there (Lehighton) today, she was in agony with some mystery ailment - nerve or muscle issue on her leg. We spent over 4 hours with maybe 15 minutes of actual staff attention. No x-rays or other tests. After two hours laying in agony some pain meds were finally given. Effective only for a short time. She hadn’t eaten In nearly 24 hours and was feeling sick after the meds. Plus she didn’t have a chance to take her regular meds and was short of breath but nothing was done. Finally she got her release and a nurse was supposed to come to help her leave, but after another 20 minutes more waiting I got her a wheelchair and we finally got OUT. But she was so sick and in pain we had to stop along 443 because she was afraid she was going to throw up. We got home but she was no bette

Sitting in the waiting area of Suite 200, the Multispecialty Suite, the language of the worker in Checkout #1 was ridiculous. Telling stories to coworkers so loudly that every f word and other curse words were clearly heard by everyone. I get everyone has interactions with coworkers during work but be aware of your surroundings! The looks on people's faces as they looked at each other told me they were disgusted as well. It's a shame to score one star bc the ladies at the check in desk were most pleasant.

My daughter was seen here and although the doctors and nurses were nice and got things done in a timely matter, they didn't check on her unless she pushed the button. My main concern is the staff needs to be more trained when pulling an IV out and taking the sticky tape off. This is the second hospital we've been to and they don't do anything to take it off simple for a little kid. Do they not understand they are little and feel things worse than we do at this point?! Were they not trained how to take them off? My daughter even told her please don't rip it off because the last hospital did that and the lady said she wasn't. What did the lady do?
