Lehigh Valley Hospital : Health Alliance

My father was admitted into the ICU twice this past year. The nursing staff were kind, attentive and genuinely caring. They went out of their way to make both he and I feel comfortable. Unfortunately, my father passed, but we couldn't be more fortunate for it to have happened in that unit.

Went in with covid in December, after waking up from the 2 week coma nobody explained anything to me, not one of the nurses or the 4 different doctors who rotated through every other day. I should not have to ask, someone should have made the effort to talk to the patient. They also used morphine as a painkiller on waking, morphine gives hallucinations that can be lessened by working with the patient, they did not.

My sister was admitted yesterday at 9am as a trauma patient, they didn’t do anything for her. They transfer her at 6pm to the one at Allentown and it was today after alot of prying that they took her to surgery at 10 and start at 2. Absolutely no consideration to the patient, no simply. But God is good and I know my sister will be good in the name of Jesus.

Avoid this hospital like the plague. There is nothing but consistent failure and incompetent care here. Do yourself and your loved ones a huge favor and continue down 93 to St. Luke's in Coaldale if you need medical care. You'll make it there and be admitted into quality care WELL before you're even close to being admitted here.

Pathetic hospital wonder why it’s still open with all the low rating. It’s funny how they got signs that they’re rated a 4 star quality rated hospital. Family waiting in the emergency room for over six hours. When you walk in the front desk they tell you they’ll ask for information and leave you waiting at the waiting room.
