Laurenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation

I am appalled at the way the long term care side of this facility is NOT maintained. The walls and ceiling are stained. The window would not close and could be opened from the outside if you wanted to because the screen is hanging off and freezing air being allowed to come into the room. The blind is broken so mom is uncomfortable getting undressed and mom is using a piece of paper to try to block it. The toilet is leaking and my mom is attempting to put towels down because of the water, both she and her roommate are huge fall risks, my mom had multiple falls at this facility, so where did you think it was safe to put her in a room with a leaking toilet, but the staff thought it was okay to put them in this room. I truly wish I could give this place 10 stars. My mother-in-law was just discharged from Laurenwood rehab, and we are incredibly grateful for the care she received. The staff, especially Shay, were instrumental during this journey. Shay went above and beyond, visiting my mom in the hospital and continuing to support her at the facility. It's comforting to know that she was in such caring hands. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone in need of rehabilitation support.

Our mother was here for 6 months, the staff here is very caring with each patient and they were very welcoming to our family every time we visited. There is a level of care here that starts with Christy the case worker and goes through out the whole facility. From the beginning the atmosphere here was upbeat and I can't say enough about them. Any time we brought up a need of our mother's they handled right away. Everyone that works here put forth an extreme and heartfelt effort towards their patients. We felt there love for our Mom. And last but not least the food is awesome, very delicious!😋 Thank you Laurenwood, we won't forget you!

Great place to be. The staff truly cares about the residents. The facility is clean and smells good.

Horrible place. I was there a month. They never let me shower a single time although they promised me on 2 occasions. Also, not given medications properly. Avoid this place like the plague!!
