Lanessa Extended Care

My mother is a resident here and is very happy whenever I go to see her. She is in the memory care unit and enjoys the activities that she goes to as well as the nursing staff. The recreation director who's name is Jennifer sends my father weekly photos of my mother at parties and Bingo (which are her favorites) when we are unable to go see her which makes us feel good knowing she is active and happy.

Please avoid this place if possible. The lack of compassion is unreal. The quality of care for these patients is an issue. Whether it is understaffing or just plain negligence, these patients are not getting the proper care they need and deserve. My grandmother was here for two weeks to get stronger after pneumonia. In those two weeks she had fallen (she was a fall risk that was suppose to have 24 hour watch ) and got 6 stitches in her head and a broken vertebrae in her neck. The TVs were never plugged in. The Day room activities never seemed to be going on even though times were posted for them. Patients were constantly asking for food. I found my grandmother crying in bed because she needed to use the bathroom and no one was coming. She then complained to the nurses that it was hurting t

Excellent activities! My mother loves the frequent programs! It helps keeps her busy and Jennifer from activities is her favorite. I can’t thank the activity team enough!

i know I can be a difficult patient to deal with in recovery, but I insist on Lanessa for rehab simply because the staff makes me feel safe, protected,, & cared for, the unit Manager, Steven is calm, educated, & has a wisdom that is beyond his age. I highly recommend,

The facility is very well kept, they keep the floors nicely cleaned. My mother is a resident at Lanessa and they've taken amazing care of her
