Customer Reviews
It started off good but went downhill after a week. My mother fell bc they were understaffed. The doctor ignored her pain complaints, wouldn't issue the meds she was prescribed on discharge from a 2 week IP hospital stay, and then accused my mother of pain seeking. We had to call an ambulance for my mother and guess what, she had a septic knee and required emergency surgery. This place needs a revamp and new oversight, starting with the in house physician.
I have a very close friend staying there for rehab after a serious illness. They are working very hard to get her independent and home. The staff is amazingly kind and patient and truly care about their patients. My friend has only been there for a few days so it is difficult to give it 5 stars. However, if the care continues to be so wonderful .... I will rerate it 5 stars. The facility is new and beautiful! The rooms are great ... even has a draw lock for important papers, etc. The food is good, the cleaning is good, the activities and PT/OT rooms are good ... all is good! Honestly, if anyone friends or family need rehab ... this is the place!
This facility is beautiful in appearance which means nothing if good care is not provided. Do yourself a favor and don’t send your loved one here. The therapy department is the best asset of this organization. It was one of the best I’ve ever seen. They even helped with bathing my mother when I complained that my mother was never bathed. My mother is on pain meds which they would repeatedly run out of and my poor mother would have to wait 1 or 2 days for the matter to be resolved. When I got upset with the nurses, the DON said that I was verbally abusing the nurses! Excuse me! Also, My mother had open wounds and no date was written on the bandage, so it was not changed in a timely manner. We had to ask for a bandage to be changed! This place contributed to significant stress, and it was tr
EDIT: Extra star for some great staff they have there who were very kind and extremely helpful helping my grandmother transition home. Tanisha especially! My grandmother was placed in the facility due to heart failure for her recovery and rehabilitation. Thinking that it was a relatively new facility and we shouldn't have any trouble, we decided to send her here. It was a mistake. At best they are short staffed, at worst negligent. I hardly write reviews and complain about anything because I am very understanding. If you are thinking of sending your loved one here, think twice and do research about all your options. If I had been able to read the reviews on here before we made our choice we would have never sent my grandmother to this facility. As soon as my grandmother got there the pr
NEGLIGENT FACILITY!!! Do not send your loved one here. My dad, a diabetic and stroke patient, came here for rehab after a bad fall. During the first 24 hours there he fell out of his bed 3 times! The nursing staff and aids are very rude and sit on their phones several times a day. My mom came in one morning to find my father on the floor in his room. When she called for the nurse in a panic to help him up, the nurse said, “that’s not my job. I’m in with another patient.” The food served is greasy and high in sugar. As a diabetic, the dietitian promised that he would get a special meal every day. His blood sugar has been between 300 and 450. This is neglect!! There are constantly call lights going on for 30 to 40 minutes and no one to come and get these poor patients. The staffing is few
