Lake Placid Health and Rehabilitation Center

My mother was at this facility and this place is absolutely unacceptable. The lack of care and professionalism is shocking. CNAs are constantly on their phones instead of attending to residents, and nurses sit at the nurses’ station on their phones as well. On top of that, CNAs and nurses loudly scream-talk in the hallways, which is extremely rude, disruptive, and completely disrespectful to residents who deserve peace and dignity. The floors are filthy and can take up to three days to get cleaned, which is disgusting for a skilled nursing facility. Basic needs are not met ice water is not passed out every shift, and residents are left waiting for simple things they should automatically receive. Many of the CNAs are rude and show no compassion whatsoever toward residents. What makes this

My mother was at Lake Placid Health and Rehab for a few weeks. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. They did their best to make sure she was comfortable and well cared for. Vickie visited often and brought her ice cream. We moved my mother to an assisted living situation for financial reasons, but would not hesitate to use Lake Placid Health and Rehab if she needs more help in the future.

Although there is no place like home , the Lake Placid care and rehabilitation center was very close. My bonus mom , Carolyn spent 77 days here for rehab and had excellent care especially from nurse Tammy and nurse Tonya . They were very kind and compassionate and excellent nurses. Also nurse Jac and Marcus who were also very kind and excellent at their jobs . CNA s have a very hard job so before you criticize just try and put yourself in their place for just one hour . I also want to give a Big shoutout to Michelle and Joumana and Amanda and can’t forget Dr. Gary for their concern for Carolyn . Lakeplacid Health from the time you walk in and greeted by Casey the receptionist you feel welcome and from Vicki and Michelle and Angie up front they all say hello .Then you have amazing Adminstrator up front that greets you.The lobby is very pretty.Then we talk about the nursing and cna staff they all work very hard and it shows the patients are happy and well taken care of.Tess and Maria and Laquita are some and Norberto and Martha and many other cna there are really good taking care of the psitents.The Director of Nursing Christina,works very hard and she has a great team.Then there's Reggie and his team in housekeeping the building is very clean and smells amazing the decor inside and even outside is very nice. The best attention from nurses therapy. The room was in great condition I enjoyed my stayed there. And I received the best therapy. Everyone is amazing there if I could give more stars I would. 🌟 🌟 🌟
