Care Center of Lake Placid

Visiting family from out of town, tried 3 other places before ending up here and everywhere else was slammed/crazy busy. They were also busy but were quick seeing everyone before me. They are still requiring masks, and charging $1 for one if you don't have one

We were out of town and my husband wasn’t feeling well and we looked up urgent care near us and thank God we found this place. Dr. Walker was amazing. Her staff was professional and kind. I highly recommend this facility. I cannot express how good it felt to be In a facility where you feel the people and the doctor cared so much

Five stars?! YES, FIVE STARS, because they won't allow me to score TEN! Often it is the norm to have either good medical care OR kindness from Doctor and staff. Here I enjoyed BOTH! Dr. Walker listened to me and took time to explain both what was wrong, but also how to treat my illness properly. I felt like I was visiting friends in their home, as Kelly and Dr. Walker made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed to make me feel relaxed. Above and beyond, Kelly brought a large fan into the exam room when she noticed I was warm, WOW! I am grateful to have found Care Center of Lake Placid and I can't thank them enough for their great care. I have the treatment I need and hope to be on the mend soon!

Dr Walker is kind, very helpful, and always willing to listen to details about my situation. She is a great help when my regular local specialists are NOT available and I need help NOW. I highly recommend her and her team. They are great!

Don't waste your time. First experience, I had a pedicure done and immediate signs of infection in my big toe. I went here and basically refused to see me. The doctor yelled from the back "Tell her to go to a podiatrist !!!" I then got an appointment with my primary doctor, I had to drive a further distance. He gave me antibiotics and advised to follow up with podiatrist. The antibiotic took care of the infection. Second Try with this place. Had punctured two of my fingers on a plant. Major swelling, pain and could hardly move them. She took a 3 minute exam, just a visual, and stated "There is NOTHING to treat!!" She dis not touch the fingers, and she did NOT compare with the fingers on my other hand. She said put ice and take Tylenol, which I had already been doing. I was maj
