I use King Oral Surgery surgery about 5 years ago and the staff. The dental assistant and Dr King were all amazing being a person that's afraid of going to the dentist to go in to have a procedure done, it was amazingly not painful. They made me feel supremely comfortable, Dr. King listened to my fears and assured me that I would be in good hands and I was, needless to say I felt nothing.It was amazing.He allowed me to listen to my music while his assistant was talking to me to help me stay calm.It was a great experience. Fast forward to January 23rd 2026, I had an appointment to have another tooth removed that was in an awkward position and again, I had a wonderful experience. Great people, great doctor and never met a person that could smoothly put the needle in my hand for my IV sedation. And he has that little funny personality that comes through when you talk to Dr King. Thanks for the safe and expedited service you give and I definitely will recommend you to everyone.

DO NOT VISIT THIS DENTIST UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DISMISSED AND YOUR MOUTH BUTCHERED UP! He is one of the only dentist that accepts Medicaid patients. However, he will treat you like you aren’t worthy to be in his presence! Rude, dismissive, and butchered my mouth up. Had tooth extraction and the extraction site is still open 9 months later!

Where to start .. I had an appointment scheduled and insurance approved .. I paid the initial deposit In June Only To get a text message days before my surgery that they are unable to accept my insurance for “this month” and to either reschedule the following month “September” or pay close to 400 to “be awake” or 630 to “be sleep” reception words Without any reason as to why. I had to quickly locate an oral surgeon that could Take me since I already scheduled days off from work for this procedure .. I have notified my dentist to NOT refer any patients here Beyond Dental in Alexandria took me and my insurance and extracted the teeth ALL GOOD NOW

I want to start by saying that the overall staff at this facility have been great—professional, helpful, and respectful. However, my experience with Dr. King was very disappointing. As a deaf individual, I rely on written or typed communication, especially when masks are worn. I informed Dr. King of this and asked him to write or type his responses. Instead, he continued speaking and showed a rude, dismissive attitude. He made no effort to accommodate my communication needs. This kind of behavior is unprofessional and disrespectful, particularly in a healthcare setting where accessibility should be a priority. I hope the clinic takes steps to ensure deaf patients receive equal and respectful treatment in the future. DO NOT RECOMMEND DR KING. *Read Reviews before you make an appointment!
