Killingly Eye Care

Lovely staff everyone is very nice and patient with you they make you feel welcomed. However after ordering a new pair of glasses for a stronger prescription I was told they would be ready in up to three weeks and after waiting patiently I have not received any sort of communication as when they would in. After 3 weeks I tried to call 4 different times throughout the day to just ask about them and if I could get a time frame and I was sent to voicemail every time and did not receive a call back which is very frustrating.

Doctors are good but the office has zero respect for people’s time. They have 3 doctors, I had the first appointment, arrived 15 min earlier as requested (they weren’t even opened), was the 2nd person to enter and still had to wait more than 40min before to go in, while people that had appointment scheduled for LATER were strolling in and out (at least 5 people went in before me, so at least 2-3 ). They said they take the shorter appointments first, so it really doesn’t matter the time you schedule, they take the patient in in the order they please… So just a heads up that you will wait until they feel like they want to take you in… open your agenda on that day!

The new patient process was on paper that was mailed to me which was kind of annoying. I was brought in 20 mins late for my appointment. There were some hiccups with the initial tests. However... This was by far the most thorough eye exam I've had in at least 10 years. Maybe longer! Dr. Arabic answered all of my questions, was incredibly patient, confident, and knowledgeable. I never felt rushed. I'm so incredibly grateful for her time today!!!!

4 years going here and always great! Staff is wonderful and very attentive. Rosemarie is wonderful very bright smile and postive attitude! Dr Shepherd is the man! Lany is awesome always helps me pick out dope frames and goes on and beyond (I’m picky lol) Glasses frame selection is great hard NOT to leave with something.

I received a confirmation text to confirm my appointment. The text was adamant about being on time in fact arriving 15 minutes early and also lots of information about if a no-show there would be a $45 charge. when I arrive for the appointment The receptionist told me that that Dr. had been on vacation for the last two weeks and I would be seeing a new doctor. I asked why wasn’t a phone call made to me to let me know. My doctor wasn’t in town and then I needed to reschedule. She didn’t have an answer for me. I did see the new Doctor Who was quite lovely and did a thorough job. However, I feel like they should’ve contacted me to let me know that my doctor was not going to be able to see me.
