Kettering Health Springboro Health Center

Called me 14 hours before my appointment because they just now realized they had a new patient tomorrow morning. Advised me as of the first Kettering no longer takes my health insurance at which point I told them that that shouldn't be a problem because my appointment was due to a car accident I'm not at fault for. Nurse scheduler whoever called me seemed pretty predetermined to cancel my appointment. Maybe cuz they were overbooked. I don't know. I mean from a business standpoint it seems kind of dumb to cancel on the patient who is having every penny covered by a third party rather than fill the day with patients who are on negotiated contract rates for their health insurance but I only know the money side of it. Either way though, whoever called me on the evening of February 4th around 6

Great Drs, beautiful facilities and respectful of your time as a patient. Very efficient. If I’ve had to wait, which I don’t think I ever have, it’s because I’ve been late. Really appreciate Dr Dunn & his staff. I highly recommend this group if you’re looking for a new doctor in the Kettering Health Network.

I used to love Dr. Hirth but he does not respond to his mychart. In fact I spent 2-3 weeks for the office staff last November to fill out my FMLA paperwork in which they lost. I had to call office manager, more than once. Then he told me to send message mychart if I had an issue with a prescription. Many messages later with no response and no resolution to my prescriptions I'm stuck. The office staff is TERRIBLE with no follow through. My husband recently went and Dr. Hirth asked him a question but got a phone from another doctor and left. Apparently never reached out and just abruptly left. It's not worth the headache of this office. They don't care enough.

I have been to this Kettering health center several times and have had nothing but good things to say. But this last time I went, will be the last. I scheduled an appointment for Wednesday (2/22/23) to see a nurse practitioner because I had not been feeling well since last Sunday. I wanted to go in and hopefully get some antibiotics to kick whatever I had, before it got worse. Well I went in for my appointment, and a new nurse practitioner I’ve never had before, her name was Vanessa seen me that day. I told her my symptoms, and she told me “you haven’t been sick long enough for me to prescribe you antibiotics, and you’re young enough you should be able to kick it on your own” she then told me I could get some mucinex, and some allergy medicine to help my symptoms (which I had already been

If you want to have your appointments canceled last minute or moved on the day you turn up, this is the place for you! Waited 18 months for an appointment after my first one was canceled a couple of days before I was due to be seen. Then turn up for my reschedule months later to be told it was set for a different time. Even when I have a confirmation from them. It’s funny that while I was waiting to see if they would still see me, two other people turn up and were told the same thing. Not sure if it’s Dr Dunn, or just whoever sets up his appointment. Either way, time to find a new doctor! Save yourself the hassle find a better provider.
