Don’t go here it’s full of rats and roaches Healthcare is pitiful. My relative was in here. He needed to go to the hospital and they would not let him go. They kept giving him pain medicine when I called down there the nurse hung up in my face. Finally, after telling them, I was gonna come down and pick him up and take him to the hospital myself. They transported him almost too late. Residents have bruises on them And I noticed done with black eyes I don’t know what’s going on there but it’s a horrible place. There are potholes all in the driveway. I’m talking enormous, sink holes

I do not recommend taking your loved ones here. Save yourself the tears and guilt. I found my loved one in a very sad state that I will never forget. And I do have experience with other nursing homes. Groveton nursing home would never treat a patient like that.

Caring staff excellent nurses Sherri and Ms Ethel to name a few but the whole staff is phenomenal the care I received here for my family member was better than previous places we were at by miles and keep in mind they are rated higher Kennedy has a wonderful Care team they keep patients safe well dressed and healthy I thank everyone at the center for watching after my dad god bless and here’s to 5 star rating cheers

My mother was here for a short term rehab stay and loved it. Eula the administrator was so pleasant and friendly as was the staff. It was always clean and smelled good when I would visit. My mother loved the food too and actually gained several pounds during her stay, which was good. We would both highly recommend in Lufkin.

Can't recommend Kennedy enough since some of the administration changes! The whole attitude and atmosphere of Kennedy has a more positive feeling. Have been going to visit my mother in law for about 9 months now there is a noticeable difference. Great job!
