I’m not one to publicly make lotsa reviews but this is one time i believe it is the right thing to do as we begin a new year. Every holiday the Big Island of Hawaii Kawili Dental office is cheerfully decorated according to the season. 🎃🎅🐰🎄💖You will be happy to have an appointment to the dentist just to see how cheerfully decorated the office is. It will make you SMILE! They want you to SMILE!! I have been going to Kawili dental group for many years for one of the best Dentists on the Big Island of Hawaii, Dr. Chad Okuda. I have the best dental care from him because he keeps you informed about your care n future preventive care! His office staff is just as dedicated, caring n helpful!. Kid went in for regular cleaning on Feb 3. They made another appointment for him 2.5 months later, again for cleaning. And Chad Okuda charged him another $80 for cleaning, not covered by insurance, due to time frame. Called and asked WHY they would split his appointment in 2 and charge TWICE? Oh, because they couldn't finish the first time, due to heavy tartar and lack of time. RIP OFF!!!

When Kawili Dental first opened, and were still able to take new patients, I moved my entire family over to Dr. Chad Okuda. It was the best decision I could've made! My kids love Dr. Chad and his staff, and that makes them want to take care of their teeth, so that they can have good check-ups with him! He is always efficient, professional, and genuinely cares about his patients. We've been there for many, many years, and we're not planning on ever going elsewhere! 5 stars!

Dr Wang is simply the kindest, gentlest and most professional dentist I have ever met. Her staff are so friendly and efficient and the facility is always such a clean, pleasant environment to visit. Especially around Halloween. Extra spooky! 🎃
