Wanted to put my dad in hospice after one round of chemo before even knowing if it worked he has AML, and when we didn't go into hospice and decided to work with a U of M Doctor he dropped him as a patient, wouldn't even finish his last transfusion. Which made us spend 9 hours in the ER getting platelets and blood transfusion. My dad is now seeing a doctor at U of M and is giving us hope and respecting are opinion. I wonder how many patients he has given no hope too. Find a new doctor!!!

Dr. Malek took over my husbands follow up treatment for his cancer when a previous doctor left. We have only met with him once to go over timelines for future follow up scans and testing, and we are so very thankful that Dr. Malek was chosen to take over my husbands care. He has a very calm and peaceful energy to him, and in that one meeting we were instantly put at ease as Dr. Malek discussed all of the screenings that my husband will go through and was very through in his explanation and patient with our questions. Highly recommend and glad he's at MyMichigan!
