I checked myself into urgent care due to complications with my type-2 diabetes. They got me checked in and I was called back before I was done even signing everything so no wait. The nurse who took my vitals also took my blood with skill and ease and was, like the X-ray gentleman and EKG nurse both patient and kind. Dr. Batista was very nice and knowledgeable. They got an IV in and I was on my way, fully-hydrated and with half the blood sugar in a couple hours. It was a pleasant, unconventional visit to a medical facility that is rarely the norm. I absolutely recommend this Kaiser Permanente!
I highly recommend KP Urgent care. At first I was bummed I had to drive into downtown, when there is an urgent care in my neighborhood. After being a patient at both, I’ll happily drive to this location. The nursing staff was great and checked in on me often. The doctor had good bedside manner and even tucked me into warm blankets. I was brought back immediately, but was there for a while because they gave me palliative care while waiting for all the test results. I left feeling much better. My only complaint is the parking garage is far away, so recommend getting dropped off if you don’t/can’t walk there. Good news is the pharmacy is right above the parking garage, so convenient when you leave.
I went in with the problem of having chronic pain unable to function daily (it's a condition that doctors have been trying to get under control but haven't) which I WILL be getting surgery for, and just needed pain medication so that I can work at my job, and NOT get fired for having to call out over a condition I have. The male doctor quite literally gave me JUST Tylenol, told me to EXERCISE and move around, then discharged me.....they literally didn't even listen to a word I said, they just wanted me OUT of there
The waiting room time for the urgent care was pretty long, but I think that is to be expected. The care I received from the staff was wonderful. I felt they took the time to understand my medical history and how it relates to my current issue and were able to both get me the care I needed in the short term and help me to understand what the next steps I should take in getting treatment.
Had to visit Urgent care today due to sudden numbness, swelling, and pain on the left side of my face. Thought I had a stroke so went to this Urgent Care. The check-in was slow. Waited about 20 mins to finally get checked in. After checking in everything was moving quickly. Doctor Houser was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. I knew I was in good hands to have him examine my situation. Overall pretty good clinic if you need medical attention.
