John Winningham, MD, FAAP

Our son has seen Dr. Winningham since has born and is now 1. He is such a nice guy and a great doctor. He always takes time to explain things to my wife and I, and to reassure us. He’s very personable and I love that he is our son’s doctor!

We went to see Dr. Winningham for a newborn checkup as out preferred pediatrician, Ashley Davis, was out of town. At the appointment I specifically told him about being worried about our baby's temperature. I was told by home to try not to get too anxious about it, it was probably a fluke. However at the appointment no one actually took my baby's temperature. Two nights later we were admitted to Children's Hospital for baby being hypothermic. I feel very much like my concerns were dismissed instead of addressed and we could have gotten treatment much sooner.

I could not possibly speak any more highly of Dr. Winningham and his nurse. They have been amazing since day one, but they always go the extra mile and it means so much. Yesterday afternoon, our baby girl bumped her head. We talked to someone at the clinic who told us what to monitor for, but assured us she would probably be fine. This morning, the nurse has already sent a message checking in on her. This isn't the first time they've done things like this either. They are so involved and you can tell they genuinely care. I feel like that's nearly impossible to find in the medical field these days. We are so thankful for both Dr. Winningham and his nurse and are beyond grateful they're the team taking care of our baby girl.

Best doctors EVER! I have NEVER had a better doctor than Dr Winningham. I have 4 children and when I first moved to AR I struggled to find a good pediatrician and then he was on call on Christmas Eve when I was in the hospital after giving birth to my third son and he was so delightful and caring. He listens to every concern we have and makes my other kids feel important too. He is such a wonderful doctor. I am blessed.

Made us feel so much better about being parents to an 5 day old. Dr. Winningham was so thorough and answered all of our questions, even the ridiculous ones. So thankful we found him & he will be taking care of our sweet girl.
