John Muir Health Urgent Care Center

I visited this urgent care with worsening respiratory symptoms and was told I had a “regular cold” without any diagnostic testing such as a nasal swab. Less than 24 hours later, another urgent care performed proper testing, listened to my lungs, and diagnosed acute bronchitis due to rhinovirus, starting treatment immediately. The difference in care was significant and concerning. Basic diagnostic steps at John Muir could have identified the illness sooner and prevented a delay in treatment.

Sergei Schegolev has no bed side manner ,was rude ,I took my 6 year old here on sunday,because his pediatrician is closed .My son has had a swollen lymph node ,fever,chills .He has completed an entire course of antibiotics, and it didnt get rid of the strep ,he has now been on almost 5 day 3xa day new antibiotics and is still getting high fevers of 103 and 104 ,and swollen lymph node is still there .I was concerned about him having some kind of throat abcess or being antibiotics resistant since the isnt getting any better . This doctor did nothing and told me the person who gets paid to give me answers is his pediatrician. And then aggressively shut the curtain behind him .Very rude and interesting because i have great insurance so he was getting paid .So not sure why he commented that .

I went yesterday at 6:10 in the afternoon, (the hospital Jon Muir Urgent Care Bentwood, they close at 8:00), I felt very bad with irritation in my throat, I couldn't breathe and had a little fever. I looked around the waiting room and there were no more patients. The person at the front desk saw me and told me to wait for me in a non-friendly manner, I waited until she finally treated me in a very bad way. She told me they couldn't help me because I didn't have an appointment, I explained that I felt bad, I asked her name too and she told me “if you want, I'll write my name for you” and Kristina gave it to me in a note in a haughty way, she started arguing with my husband between the word emergency and urgency, told us that we did not understand, (my husband speaks perfect English), and sh

The John Muir Urgent Care in Brentwood was outstanding! I checked in with Nellie, who was friendly, kind and understanding. She was so nice, she put me at ease. The wait time was short, and I was then called in by Kaylee, a nurse. Again, a very nice and very efficient individual who took my vitals. She also put me at ease. I was then seen by Dr. Saleh. I can’t say enough positive comments about this visit! I highly recommend the John Muir Health Urgent Care Center in Brentwood!!!

Make an appointment online was very easy very quick and very fast. They had appointments for the day that I needed. I wasn’t feeling well when I got to my appointment headed to the front desk to check in and was seen, and I was out with less than an hour Not to mention with my one year-old their staff are so nice so friendly.
