Jefferson Abington Medical Center

There is a labcorp location here! I was shocked to get good service in a Jefferson health building. I walked in at 11:15am for scheduled routine blood work and walked out 11:28. Parking was easy. The building is new and clean. I didn’t get his name, but the black man with glasses who checked me in was so helpful and kind. The checkin process is confusing because the QR code scanning area of the checkin screen is so small I missed it the first time I looked at it.

I took a half day off work to go to my appointment, I get their 15 min early since I’m a new patient, and when I walk in they told me they closed at 12 (3 hours ago). I asked why I wasn’t called and they said they didn’t know. No apologies, I was just told it was upper managements decision and out of their control and they were not sure why I wasn’t notified. How unprofessional!???!

It's never fun to take blood from someone, but why is the staff here so miserable?
