Jays Pharmacy of Madison

After receiving call my Rx was finally available, I drive 15 miles only to find once again they closed hours early. They work less than banker's hours as it is. No weekends and extra days for holidays. They were last in town to reopen after Hurricane Helene while customers needed their meds. Various times they were out of stock of meds and often would provide only 30 days while other pharmacies provided 90 days of meds. Per Florida law, pharmacy techs are supposed to be under direct supervision of licensed Pharmacist at all times. Approximately half the time, the pharmacist Emily was no where to be seen when I went there. Both techs have been rude and demeaning to customers when Emily not there. I drive 2 hours to this pharmacy. Because I can not imagine filling my prescription anywhere else. they have the best service I’ve seen at any establishment. Emily is the sweetest and cares so much for her customers and will do whatever she can to help you.

This is the fastest and most efficient pharmacy I have ever used. Emily is so on top of her game- she has medications ready within minutes. She is so kind, intelligent, helpful and overall a joy to do business with. There is never a waiting line because she’s so quick and organized. She always has a smile on her face and she truly cares about her customers. You can walk in with a script and it’ll be ready to go within 5-10 min max. Overall, her work ethic is 10/10, her business is 10/10. I will never go to cvs or win Dixie again.. Emily is basically just the best.

I called on the afternoon of 3/28/24 around 1:30pm to inquire about a certain medication and was told they were not accepting new patient's prescriptions. Before I could complete asking my next question seeking further advice, I was rather abruptly interrupted & told once more that they were not taking new patients then hung up on by one of their female employees! That is the absolute rudest I have ever been treated by any company!!! I was simply attempting to ask professional advice and was not even given the chance to finish my sentence. Now I know that even if they were taking new patients, I would NEVER become one of them!!! I would have given this zero stars had I been allowed.

Jay's Pharmacy is fantastic as Emily is brilliant, efficient, & gets blood pressure medicine & whatever we need as quickly as possible. It has old fashioned pharmacy environment. The best pharmacy in Madison Florida!
