I am very slow to post my opinion on the web, because I am a private person, however, after more than 20 years of dedicated service to me and my family, I think it's time I share how wonderful Dr. Johnson and his staff really are. Dr. Johnson and his staff are not like a normal doctor's office. If you are wanting to be in and out and see the shirttail of your doctor, this is not the office for you. He actually sits down in front of the computer and goes over the information that his wonderful nurse, Bonnie, has put in the computer. That's right, he sits down and talks to you! He doesn't assume anything. He listens to you! The compassion and understanding displayed on in his face and heard in his voice is not something you can fake or learn, it's just there, because he's a great huma

For everyone that has Dr James Johnson as their primary care provider you already know how friendly and helpful they are at this Dr's office. This is for the people that are looking for another primary physician or have relocated to Crossville and don't have a primary doctor yet. I hurt my back this weekend and came to the conclusion this morning that I needed to see my family doctor, Johnson Family Medicine at 4147 Highway 127 N Ste 102 and get some help. I arrived around 8:30 am, unannounced and without an appointment. I was prepared to spend the day in the waiting room of the office until they could fit me in, well that didn't happen! By 9:00am P.A. Rebecca was examining me and making her assessment of my situation. Her compassion and empathy were so very much appreciated.

Friendly staff that seem knowledgeable. Poor scheduling practices. Everytime I've been here I wait an additional 20-30 minutes after my set appointment time. There is even a sign asking patients to reschedule 24 hrs in advance if you can not keep your appointment or you will be charged 20$. Can I charge them 20$ for not keeping my appointment available? My time is valuable as well. Tighten up, ladies stop overscheduling.

The best Dr. In Crossville. Not with any group. He takes time with all his patients and listens to all concerns you might have. My Mother loves him and she wouldn't change Drs for any reason. So glad to have him in Crossville..

I love Dr. Johnson! He listens to what you have to say and to any concerns. I really like they have on call after hours. I've used that multiple times!
