IU Health Urgent Care - Noblesville

This place really is clean makes you feel safe and comfortable all when you’re probably not feeling too well. It’s so very kid friendly with it stickers, Cartoon Band-Aids, suckers and adopt a toy areas. My favorite is the horse and chicken mural along with all the coloring books and iPads the kids can play with in the front corner of the waiting area. And I don’t know another urgent care you can go and get coffee and some hot tea and honey but it did definitely help me feel better. I had called in ahead so I didn’t have a long wait but I don’t think anyone else did either. I think it’s great that they had wheelchairs available as well as the light in the bathroom going on so you didn’t have to touch the switch another plus if your hands are full. The young ladies at the front desk are very bored…..and very rude. They will intentionally try not to help you. Treat you like an idiot, scoff at you if you don’t understand the workmen’s comp process. I made 2 trips to this clinic, I came in at 6 the first time and the front desk turned me away. They were too busy, did not have time to see me. They closed at 8. 2nd time I came in, they wanted to turn me away again over something irrelevant. The clinicians here are great, but the front desk staff might want to consider another way to make money…….any other way. This was my first experience with IU Health, it was pretty disappointing.

Complete waste of time and money. I went in on Saturday, October 18th with a sore/swollen throat and earache. Check-in was quick and the front office staff was nice enough, except wanting to argue with me about my phone number which I've had for 10 years. The nurse was fantastic. The "doctor" ran 2 tests which came back negative, prescribed an over-the-counter medication, and told me to go home and tough it out. They asked if I wanted to have the test sent in for cultures, I said yes, then they sent me home. 10 minutes later I received a call stating that they needed me to come back to do the culture swab. It took several hours for the script to be filled at the pharmacy, and when it was filled, they stated that it was an OTC medicine and cheaper off the shelf. I called the office later in

Not equipped with CT scans on site. Staff is usually nice. I am not sure if they have radiology here but I’ve been sent to the ER without much cause twice. I essentially was billed for the advice to go to the ER the last two times i’ve come in. I would avoid this urgent care entirely unless you are in dire need of antibiotics or something SUPER simple that a nurse/PA can diagnose. This facility is simply not prepared (or willing?) to treat more complex issues. It seems they wash their hands free from liability of being unable to find what’s wrong with you by telling you to go to the ER. I have been disappointed with the level of care both times I’ve visited this year. Plus one of the PAs lied on my medical record a while back. I just really enjoyed my visit there. The staff were all very friendly, positive, and just a delight to interact with. My diagnosis and treatment plan was very well explained and I fhad no questions left to ask. Top choice facility.
