Itauma Udosen

The only reason I am giving this physician one star is because she earned her medical credentials. Unfortunately, she does not reflect the standards and reputation associated with Emory. Her people skills are poor, her communication is lacking, and her bedside manner is even worse. I have personally witnessed her speaking harshly to elderly patients, which is unprofessional and disheartening. She should remember that one day she, too, will be elderly. In addition, she often stalls on completing necessary paperwork, which appears to make the process unnecessarily difficult for patients. Her reputation in the community is poor, and I know several individuals who have unenrolled from her care. Sadly, behavior like this also casts a negative light on other dedicated African American physicians

Hello, Dr. Udosen lacks bedside manners. She has a cold and unpleasant energy. Not welcoming at all. She’s nonchalant and very condescending to her patients. She will talk to you like you are small. She has a serious attitude problem and she can’t hide it. She will have you questioning why she’s even practicing medicine. Also, she will keep requesting unnecessary labs or making the process difficult. My virtual PCP that is offered through my insurance provider; was confused by the way she handled things. Listen, if you’re looking for a PCP that sympathizes with your situation, keep it moving. Dr. Udosen is clearly in the wrong position. I’ve never seen her smile. Her concern seems forced. Bottom line I am fighting kidney disease most likely from the high dose of blood pressure and cholesterol meds. The cholesterol meds caused severe pain in my legs for 10 months until my pharmacist told me it was indeed the statins and I stopped taking them. She told me my kidneys were fine. I went to another primary care doctor who immediately told me about my kidneys from reading the same blood work that Itauma used. Itauma has not responded to my emails which is consistent with her don't care attitude.

I went here for a physical. I made the appointment the end of May over the phone. I arrive June 22 and the receptionist states, we don’t do that on the first visit. I’m not sure who booked that, but we tried calling but had the wrong number. The Dr likes to get to know the patient first. But truth be told , doctor just wants two visits out of you than just a one time physical. I get my blood pressure checked and my weight, leave and schedule another appointment. I couldn’t believe I drove all that way for a 15 min appointment. A few weeks later I get a $250 bill in the mail! Infuriating. I call billing. They claim it’s my deductible, but if I just got what I came for there would be no way I would be charged a ridiculous amount of money for a blood pressure check! I arrive back in AUGUST (

I have severe Fibromyalgia, a herniated spine and a colorectal issue I await surgery for. Ms. Udosen is very bland and cold. Rigged and insensitive. I'm suffering with pain that easily go level ten. Physical and internal. She prescribes medicine that isn't effect for my level and stage of pain. Yet The emergency room doctors realize my levels of pain. Full body pain. She is so much a stiff professional she forgot how to be a people person. The staff around her is very nice. She however needs to fix her personality and actually help. I'm no pill popper but I know what I need at times to truly get through. With proper meds I could work easier and actual do a few more things in life. I wish no one to have her. She is the Worst doctor I've ever had.
